My permaculture designs are meticulous.

The result is a landscape that can be relied upon: it holds water after a rainstorm, supports Dutch native flowers and animals, introduces biodiversity including plants from all over the world, improves food security, cools down the area, fosters community, and does so much more.

During the pandemic, I got really into gardening.

I have designed a balcony food forest, seamlessly implemented native flowers into a dune landscape,
and have worked with community gardens.

Another thing I do is teach.

This little garden was made in collaboration with some neighborhood kids. The frame and soil were provided, and I brought the plants: Siberian Honeyberry, Japanese Kiwi, and Turkish Fig, among others. The kids had a blast planting all the fruit!

I only buy from the best specialized nurseries.

Good nurseries grow disease-resistant and proven cultivars. Some other materials I like working with are vermicompost, perlite, and mushroom brood.

Iā€™m an artist first, gardener second.

But few things make me more excited than designing systems for urban agroforestry, and watching my projects develop and mature.
